and here's the full story for your reading pleasure!
Hello guys, for many of you right, I believe you come from loving families, have parents who dote on you and siblings who irritate you. Well for me, its not the case. Although I still have an ok life, can buy what I want to eat, got a place to sleep, got own laptop, but I don’t dare to say that I have a happy family.
My parents currently are facing some problems with each other and sometimes they don’t know how it feels for me as their children. I feel torn between the two sometimes. Things became worse two three months ago when dad started to leave the house regularly without coming back home after a few days or weeks. Those times were hard for me.
But then thank God, even though I was feeling down and disappointed, God always assures me that things will turn out fine. After praying to God about this issue, He always makes me feel better. Also, as I read the bible, I feel the verses speaking to my situation. Maybe later if you are interested I can share with you more.
Now, my family’s situation is getting better. At that time I could not imagine that things would turn out for the good. My mum is much calmer now, and my dad is more thoughtful of us. He tries to call us daily and when he comes back, he brings us out for good food.
I have learnt to be more contented with life and to trust in God, to know that he hear our prayers and that we can turn to Him, especially when we are facing troubles.
God has also provided for me in many ways, for instance, I had the opportunity to go overseas on a school trip to England despite many obstacles that I faced, such as a tough and scary interview where I had to answer unexpected questions. Although I felt that my answers were funny, in the end I got the opportunity to go overseas with my schoolmates. It was really a miracle/gift/blessing from God that I managed to get a spot to go there with 4 others since it was highly competitive.
Well, through this, I learnt that God answers our prayers, even at the moment we least expect it. He also wants the best for us. I really enjoyed myself at England, and thank God for this one in a lifetime chance to go there. God does not only provides for us, but He is always there for us, no matter what circumstances you are under.
Since God can do it for me, He can do it for you too.
Have a nice day!
