THE LEAGUE PART 2
Hello everyone! First and foremost, thank you for coming down last week to take part in the soccer/captain's ball competitions. Your presence is very much appreciated whether you played a lot or played a little bit. Your support and presence matters a lot to us. =)
Good job, captain ballers!! I enjoyed watching you guys play, it was classy! And congrats, footballers, we are now in the soccer finals! Press on everyone!!
This Saturday, we will be playing the Soccer Finals, as well as a new bout of games/competitions for Frisbee. Do bring a change of clothes/toiletries and come properly attired! Games will be held from 1pm-4pm @East Coast Park this time.. Let's meet in the lobby of Church at 1245pm!!
The rules for Frisbee are as follows:
Timings: 5 mins per half, total 10 mins per game. No extra time
Players: 5 versus 5
Handicap: Younger groups can have an additional player.
Rules: Minimum of 2 girls per team. Unlimited Substitutes with min. interval of 3 mins.
How the game is played: The game has 2 sides to a team with a Goal Area. Players will start from opposite sides and play towards the goal area. It is like Captain's ball, except with a Frisbee. Instead of having a keeper, any player who catches the Frisbee at the Goal area will have a point counted towards the score. Whenever a player catches the Frisbee, that player has to remain stationary and has 6 seconds to pass on the Frisbee or possession will be given to the opposite team. If the Frisbee drops on the floor, possession is also given to the opposite team.
